The model, now available across ChatGPT, API, and Codex, supports up to 1 million tokens of context and integrates coding features from GPT-5.3 Codex. GPT-5.4 Pro, priced at $30 and $180 per million tokens, targets complex tasks with improved reasoning and workflow integration.

The model's GDPval benchmark score reaches 83%, reflecting its advanced capabilities in software development, document handling, and structured data tasks. A notable feature allows users to guide responses mid-process, optimizing token usage during extended reasoning chains.
